Hi, I’m Leah,

(she/her), founder of Flourish Trauma Therapy. I created this practice to connect directly with individuals seeking support in healing from past hurts. Having navigated my own traumatic experiences, I understand firsthand that trauma work is incredibly challenging, and 100% worth it.

My approach is always to meet you where you are, honoring that you are the expert on your own life. I don't believe anyone is broken, so you won't find a 'fixer' here. Instead, consider me your biggest fan, offering fresh perspectives and ideas to help propel you forward on your healing journey.

Where we meet.

A cozy corner with a green upholstered armchair, a wooden shelf with decorative items and books, a salt lamp, a small side table with tissues, and a large window showing trees outside.

We can’t fully heal from trauma if we don’t feel safe, and I strive to make my therapy space as cozy and peaceful as possible.

In the office you’ll find real plants, natural light, fidgets, snacks, and our weighted emotional support Koala, Coco (yes, he is for adults!)

A yellow floor lamp is to the right, beside a small white side table with a basket of papers and a tissue box. The wall behind is painted dark gray with decorative clocks and mirrors. A window on the left shows trees and a blue sky outside.

My office is located in the heart of Mid-town Raleigh, less than 30 minutes from almost any direction - making it just a quick hop for my clients in Cary, Wake Forest, and Knightdale. You won’t have to worry about the stress of street parking or navigating a parking deck—our private parking lot is free, spacious, and easily accessible.

A little more about me

I’ve heard therapy be described as a personal relationship with professional boundaries and that is the perfect way to sum up my practice. So here’s a few things about me to get started:

I am a born and raised North Carolinian, specifically, Eastern NC. I moved to Raleigh in 2015 to attend school at NC State.

If you asked my current clients 3 things about me somewhere in there you would probably learn that I love Taylor Swift, Harry Potter (the movies, those books are too long for me to read), and my dog, Elle.

If you asked my friends 3 things about me you’d learn I am exceptionally loyal, an outspoken advocate for the things I care about, and again that I absolutely adore my dog, Elle (it’s a problem, but not really).
