About the Owner

A cozy corner of an office or living room with a green velvet armchair, a white shag rug, a wooden bookshelf with decorative items and a salt lamp, a large window showing trees outside, and a small side table with a tissue box.

Hi, I’m Leah, founder of Flourish Trauma Therapy. I created this practice to connect directly with individuals seeking support in healing from past hurts. Having navigated my own traumatic experiences, I understand firsthand that trauma work is incredibly challenging, and 100% worth it.

My approach is always to meet you where you are, honoring that you are the expert on your own life. I don't believe anyone is broken, so you won't find a 'fixer' here. Instead, consider me your biggest fan, offering fresh perspectives and ideas to help propel you forward on your healing journey.

A little more about me

I’ve heard therapy be described as a personal relationship with professional boundaries and that is the perfect way to sum up my practice. So here’s a few things about me to get started:

I am a born and raised North Carolinian, specifically, Eastern NC.

If you asked my current clients 3 things about me somewhere in there you would probably learn that I love Taylor Swift, Harry Potter (the movies, those books are too long for me to read), and my dog, Elle.

If you asked my friends 3 things about me you’d learn I am exceptionally loyal, an outspoken advocate for the things I care about, and again that I absolutely adore my dog, Elle (it’s a problem, but not really).
